Turnagain Pass is the highest point on the road between Anchorage and Soldotna, Alaska
As of yet unscathed by corporate interests
I love getting pictures of my little girl out in the wilderness
she looks so fragile, buffeted by the wind
of course, there’s the obligatory ”Little House on the Prairie” shot
complete with falling down scene
but seriously, isn’t this gorgeous?

How beautiful. Let’s hope it remains unscathed by corporate interests.
Your daughter is adorable and the backdrop of the mountains is gorgeous. Thanks for the Little HOuse on the prairie shots. I still remember that my grandfather’s used to love the part when Carrie ran and fell down.
If you get a chance I invite you to come on over and linkup at Tots and Me, I host a WW linky every week.

Beautiful shots – I especially like the path leading into the scene. And the Little House on the Prairie is fine with me!

Wow. Those are fabulous photos! I need one of them in my office to remind me of what outside SHOULD look like (and I’m in Montana, where I can see places like this not too far from my backyard).

OMG she is soo cute. Seriously. Great pics. As a city-dweller whose child never sees such nature, we are coveting those skies! Those fields!

I knew I had seen those pictures before…as soon as I read Turnagain Pass I couldn’t help but smile I think I have photos like that. I lived in Anchorage for 6 years, skied Alieska, fished the Kenai, camped on the spit at Homer, etc. Brings back lot of memories.
