A year ago I was blissfully ignorant
\nA year ago my baby was still a baby, and I was just a new mom trying to do it all
\nA year ago I was clueless that something was trying to kill me
\nA year ago I was a little frustrated with the pain of breast feeding
\nA year ago I figured it was just mastitis – again
\nA year ago I made an appointment to see my doctor
\nThe next day I went in
\n“I’m not sure that’s mastitis – I’m ordering a mammogram”<\/p>\n

\nLong
\nDays
\n.<\/span> till that mammogram<\/p>\n

“Hmmmm… dense tissue, lets try an ultrasound”
\n“Is it cancer?”
\n“I can’t make a diagnosis”
\n“What else could it be?”
\n“Well, that’s just it…
\n.<\/span> let’s do a biopsy”<\/p>\n

A year ago I was a different person<\/p>\n

The phone rings
