{"id":142,"date":"2006-10-18T20:20:00","date_gmt":"2006-10-19T03:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/coffeejitters.net\/blog\/?p=142"},"modified":"2014-09-11T21:40:03","modified_gmt":"2014-09-12T04:40:03","slug":"the-c-word","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/coffeejitters.net\/blog\/2006\/10\/18\/the-c-word\/","title":{"rendered":"the C-word"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two weeks ago my dad went in to surgery to remove his spleen because of a blood clot. when they got in there they saw that he had pancreatic cancer that had spread throughout his abdomen. they just closed him back up without even taking the spleen. they told us he has 3 months to live.<\/p>\n<p>Since then they&#8217;ve told us he could have as much as two years. Two years never sounded so good.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know how to deal with this.<\/p>\n<div class=\"blogger-post-footer\"><a
