A part of me is so jealous of my friends who have flown, driven, biked, ran, crawled, whatever it took to get to Washington D.C. But then I think about how cold it is there, and I’ll be here in my jammies, eating breakfast, snuggled in a giant comforter, and able to run to my bathroom anytime I like without waiting in line. Inaguration day will be just as important whether I’m here or there.

My stepson drove from Atlanta to D.C. to attend and is so excited. Like you, I’ll be watching from home and sharing the excitement with friends.

So my big debate is whether I want to wake the boys up to watch on the computer. . . they won’t remember or understand, plus they’ll be crabby all day.
What to do, what to do!
BTW, congrats on being invited!
sorry you can’t be there in person.

I’ll be able to adjust my heat in the house if need be. I don’t think thermal socks would help me as much in that cold.

Very, very important, considering your condition! Hope you were able to enjoy the moment, “snuggled in a giant comforter”.
We ate grilled cheese sandwiches!
